Refund & Cancellation Policy — Global Skill Workforce (GSW)
Effective Date: [10/08/2026]
Last Updated: [29/08/2026]
Global Skill Workforce (GSW) is an Overseas Recruitment Assistance & Career Consultancy Firm providing career consultancy, recruitment assistance, skills development and training support, documentation assistance, visa-process guidance, and related support services.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the circumstances under which payments made to GSW may be cancelled, refunded, adjusted, or become non-refundable.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to payments made through the GSW website, payment gateway, bank transfer, mobile financial services, or other authorized payment channels for GSW services.
The applicable refund terms may vary depending on:
- The type of service purchased
- Whether the service has already commenced
- Whether third-party costs have already been incurred
- The specific service package or subscription selected
- Applicable laws and regulations
- The terms communicated to the customer before payment
2. Nature of GSW Services
GSW provides consultancy, guidance, assistance, coordination, and support services.
Payment for a GSW service does not constitute a guarantee of:
- Employment
- Job selection
- Interview selection
- Employer acceptance
- Work permit approval
- Visa approval
- Immigration approval
- Overseas placement
- A specific salary or job position
- A specific departure date
Final decisions regarding employment and immigration are made by the relevant employer and/or competent government or immigration authority.
Therefore, failure to obtain a job, selection, work permit, visa, or overseas employment opportunity does not automatically create a right to a refund, unless a specific written service agreement states otherwise or a refund is required under applicable law.
3. Before Service Commencement
If a customer requests cancellation before GSW has started providing the purchased service, the customer may be eligible for a refund, subject to:
- The specific service terms
- Any applicable administrative charges
- Payment gateway/transaction charges that cannot be recovered
- Third-party costs already incurred
Where applicable, the refundable amount will be calculated after deducting legitimate non-refundable costs.
4. After Service Commencement
Once GSW has started providing a service, the payment may become partially or fully non-refundable, depending on the nature and stage of the service.
Service commencement may include:
- Candidate profile assessment
- Career consultation
- CV/profile preparation
- Job matching assistance
- Employer opportunity coordination
- Interview preparation
- Documentation review
- Visa-process assistance
- Training enrollment or commencement
- Processing or coordination activities
If a service has already been partially completed, any refund, where applicable, may be calculated based on the unused portion of the service.
5. Candidate Registration & Profile Services
Where a candidate purchases a paid registration, membership, profile, consultancy package, or similar service:
- The fee may be refundable before the service is activated, subject to applicable charges.
- Once the paid service has been activated or substantially delivered, the fee may become non-refundable.
- If GSW has already performed profile assessment, consultation, documentation review, or other included work, the corresponding service fee may not be refundable.
6. Recruitment Assistance Services
GSW provides recruitment assistance, not a guaranteed employment placement.
If a candidate is not selected by an employer, does not pass an interview, does not meet employer requirements, or an employer decides not to proceed, this alone does not automatically qualify the candidate for a refund.
Any refund associated with a particular recruitment assistance package will be governed by the specific terms communicated for that service.
7. Visa Assistance Services
Visa-related assistance fees are generally related to consultancy, documentation guidance, application support, coordination, and related services.
Visa fees paid to embassies, consulates, immigration authorities, medical centers, VFS/visa application centers, or other third parties are separate from GSW service fees and may be non-refundable according to the respective third party's policy.
If a visa application is refused, delayed, withdrawn, or rejected, GSW service fees already earned for services provided will generally not be refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing or required by applicable law.
8. Government, Embassy & Third-Party Fees
Payments made to third parties on behalf of or for the benefit of a customer may be subject to the third party's own refund policy.
Examples include:
- Government fees
- Visa application fees
- Embassy/consular fees
- Medical examination fees
- Training provider fees
- Certification fees
- Document attestation fees
- Translation fees
- Courier charges
- Verification charges
- Other external service-provider fees
GSW cannot guarantee refunds for third-party charges that are outside GSW's control.
9. Training & Skills Development
For training programs:
Before Training Starts
A refund may be considered if cancellation occurs before the training program begins, subject to the specific training provider's terms and any non-refundable costs.
After Training Starts
Once training has commenced, fees may become non-refundable or partially refundable depending on:
- Attendance
- Training materials provided
- Sessions completed
- Registration costs
- Trainer/provider charges
Where training is provided by a third-party institution, that institution's refund policy may apply.
10. Documentation Services
If GSW has already reviewed, prepared, verified, organized, or processed documents, the relevant service fee may become non-refundable.
Refund eligibility will depend on:
- Whether processing has started
- Work already completed
- Third-party charges incurred
- The specific documentation service purchased
11. Customer Cancellation

The cancellation request should include:

Step 3
GSW will review:
- Payment records
- Service status
- Work already completed

- Third-party costs
- Refund eligibility
Step 4
GSW will notify the customer of the refund decision.
13. Refund Processing Time
If a refund is approved, GSW will initiate the refund through the applicable payment/settlement channel.
The actual time for the refunded amount to appear in the customer's account may depend on:
- Payment gateway
- Bank
- Mobile financial service provider
- Card issuer
- Payment method
- Banking holidays and processing times
GSW is not responsible for delays caused solely by banks, payment gateways, card issuers, or other third-party payment providers.
14. Payment Gateway & Transaction Charges
Where permitted by applicable law and the payment provider's terms, payment gateway or transaction charges that have already been incurred and cannot be recovered may be deducted from the refundable amount.
Any applicable deduction will be communicated to the customer.
15. Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
If a customer accidentally makes:
- A duplicate payment
- An incorrect payment
- A payment for the wrong service
the customer should contact GSW as soon as possible with the transaction details.
After verification, GSW may refund or adjust the excess/incorrect payment where appropriate.
16. Failed Transactions
If money has been deducted from a customer's account but the GSW system does not show a successful transaction, the customer should contact GSW with the transaction ID.
GSW will verify the transaction with the relevant payment provider.
If the transaction is confirmed as failed and the amount has not been settled to GSW, the payment provider/bank may automatically reverse the amount according to its own processing procedure.
17. Fraudulent or Unauthorized Transactions
GSW reserves the right to investigate transactions suspected of being:
- Fraudulent
- Unauthorized
- Duplicate due to system manipulation
- Made using stolen payment credentials
- In violation of applicable laws or GSW terms
Refunds for such transactions may be withheld while an investigation is conducted.
18. Customer-Provided Incorrect Information
A refund may not be available where service failure or additional costs result from inaccurate, incomplete, misleading, or fraudulent information/documents supplied by the customer.
Examples include:
- Incorrect personal information
- Incorrect passport information
- False educational qualifications
- False work experience
- Forged documents
- Failure to provide required documents
- Failure to attend a scheduled appointment
- Failure to respond to required communication
19. Employer or Government Decisions
GSW does not control decisions made by:
- Employers
- Embassies
- Consulates
- Immigration authorities
- Government agencies
- Training institutions
- Medical centers
- Visa application centers
- Other independent third parties
Accordingly, a decision made by such an organization does not automatically create a refund obligation for GSW.
20. Welfare & Protection Support
Any welfare or protection assistance facilitated through NI Global (NGO) or another associated organization is subject to the applicable welfare program's eligibility criteria, terms, available resources, and funding.
Such welfare assistance is separate from paid GSW consultancy services unless specifically stated otherwise.
21. Non-Refundable Services
Unless specifically stated otherwise, the following may be non-refundable once provided or incurred:
- Completed consultancy sessions
- Completed career assessments
- Completed CV/profile preparation
- Completed documentation review
- Third-party government/embassy fees
- Medical examination fees
- Training fees after commencement
- Document attestation/verification charges
- Translation charges
- Courier charges
- Payment gateway charges that cannot be recovered
- Other third-party costs already incurred
22. Changes to Services
If GSW needs to modify, suspend, or discontinue a service due to operational, legal, regulatory, technical, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control, GSW will assess affected customers on a case-by-case basis and provide an appropriate solution where applicable.
23. Refund Method
Approved refunds will generally be processed through the original payment method or another verified payment method approved by GSW and/or the relevant payment provider.
GSW may request additional verification before processing a refund.
24. Policy Changes
GSW may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time.
Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised Last Updated date.
The version applicable to a transaction will generally be determined according to the terms applicable at the time of purchase, subject to applicable law.
